The "Camino de Invierno" leaves the "Camino Francés" at Ponferrada and ends up in Santiago. Share and learn here.

Puente de Domingo Florez... yes. But Priaranza del Bierzo? It is only 8 km out of Ponferrada!

Last walk through there showed no sign of albergues being built anywhere in either town. You gotta wonder if maybe these ideas are "approved" without any real plan to finance them...

wanted to post this a while ago but it escaped my attention.

I think that an albergue in priaranza is not such a wrong idea. maybe someone would want to start in molinaseca, spend a few hours sightseeing in ponferrada and sleep in priaranza. or even start in el acebo or riego de ambros.

it is, of course, completely another thing if this albergue will really be built. I keep my fingers crossed for the one in puente domingo florez, at least. I am gonna need it! :o)
