I know the Cadiz area well and while I admire your pluck the section to PSM of flat, flat, flat salt marsh with the occasional 3 or 4 lane highway is not one I would have chosen. I may have mentioned that when we did it we took a more easterly route via Medina Sidona and Arcos.

This is good advice particularly when temperatures soar.
I'm sure there are several brands - the one I use is Sueroral Hiposodico - available in most farmacias.
