If you scroll down in the VdlP forum you will find a record of a trip from October 2009.
Here is the link. camino-mozarabe-and-via-de-la-plata/topic7203.html
I hope you enjoy the extra week with very few other pilgrims.

Please let me advise you tou take a boat from Cadiz to Puerto Santa Maria and avoid the long walk around the bay to get there. It is what pilgrims would have done historically and avoids a tedious stretch around the salt flats.

We walked from Cadiz to Sevilla last winter and used la Guia del Camino de Santiago de CADIZ a SEVILLA. It's in Spanish, with sketchy maps but the text gives a lot of information. You can order it at http://www.viaplata.org. BTW Cadiz-Puerto de Santa Maria is a beautiful stretch, esp. when you manage to ignore the tourist traps along the bay area.
