Couple Accomodation along Portugal route

My husband and I are walking in July from Porto to Santiago. We are on a budget and would like to find accomodations where we have our own room. Also, should we bring our tent? Any suggestions or recommendations would be fabulous. WE will be walking the Coastal route then over to Barcelos and up. We get to spend a month! Thanks for your help. Pura Vida!

Couple Accomodation along Portugal route

It does depend on what u are prepared to spend! We recently had a week in a Quinta only 5 Kms from Barcelos for less than €70 per night. It was the best stopover we had from Lisbon to Santiago.

the hostal in valenca has a double room
