About Herbon, near Padron, new albergue opened by the AGACS, Galician Association, next august.

This albergue will be opened by the traditional hospitality rule, the same that it works in Corcubion and in so many places.

I'm sorry for not translating the information, I suppose is not difficult to understand it's portuguese and spanish.

Buen Camino,

Fantastic - very useful (Spanish / Portuguese - makes no difference to me because despite having travelled widely in Spanish / Portuguese speaking parts of the world for over a decade now we still manage to mangle the dialogue - but get buy with international sign language and the incredible patience of the locals).

Has this list been expanded for 2010?

I hope so, but difficult to know it, I suggest you to confirm it in every albergue where you stay!

in Valenca, Mos, Redondela, Pontevedra, Padron - these albergues are very nice.
in Padron is the best!!!!!!
and another thing people does not know : this year because of holy year the Seminario Menor - has opened it's doors for pilgrims. it is a very beautiful place, with a special atmosphere!!!!! a little more expensive : 10 euro per night. but it worths the money!!!!

Just wondering: what town is the Seminario Menor in, and what makes it so worth the money?

Hi - it is in Santiago with accommodation in single rooms. Check at the pilgrims' office if they are at acapacity when you arrive.

Don't forget, there's another donativo albergue beside Padron, just in Herbon, in an ancient monastery, run by the galician association with the same philosophy than Corcubion, Tosantos, Grañon, ... nice to be visited!
