Typical Spring Weather

I (from Sacramento, CA) am planning to do my bike pilgrimage to SJC (Via de la Plata, from Sevilla) end of March to early April 2007. I have been looking for information on what type of spring weather to expect (rain, cold temperatures, road conditions, etc.) but no luck yet. If anybody knows some website I can check please email me or post the information on this site.
