... and then it started to rain

2007 has been the driest year since 1973 in Santiago de Compostela. That said, 2008 is certainly starting out differently. We have had steady arrival of rain in the last few days.... the typical Galician way, 30 minutes with pouring rain, 15 minutes of sun followed by some more rain...

So for those of you on the way right now, I hope you have a good poncho or some good rain gear. I just came back from walking our dog, I left in sunshine but when I came back (about 15 minutes later) it was pouring down.

Meteogalicia also reports of snow over 1100 meters (O Cebreiro).
