Time of past OR future Camino
june (2013)
While I had a trip planned to Europe this summer (with a friend and her two boys)
It was definitely not supposed to include a solo adventure on the Camino
However, two weeks into our journey we have taken different paths (but will meet up again to travel home to Canada)
And I have landed back on the Camino
I am feeling very blessed to be back this year (I did Sarria to Finisterre last July)
Started in Ponferrada and will take it day by day.
Buen Camino

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

This is a quick note from Nova Scotia to cheer you on. It sounds like your plans were changed and you see the right path in front of you for this right moment. Enjoy!

Buen camino,
Pat

Transport luggage-passengers.
From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Well, I did it with my pack this year
And struggled with blisters
And my boots, that I love dearly, and have been good to me for over a year, really failed me
I think I have lost a toenail, but I am afraid to look.
All in all, I walked from Ponferrada to Portomarin,
caught a taxi back to a Sarria and bussed to Santiago
Where I have been enjoying the lovely town
Attended mass today
Got to see the Butafumeria, which didn't swing at last year's mass
I went an hour early, and was sitting right underneath the swing
It was extremely emotional.

All, in all, for a spur of the moment journey, it has been glorious
