Sleeping bag a MUST in October?

I wouldn't go without. In fact my really good light sleeping bag got lost moving so I just got a new one at 680 grams for less than 20£. Saving weight does not have to be costly, especially as one only needs a one season bag sleeping indors all the way...

    The lesson of the cow

Thank you David what a brilliant video, will steal it for my FB page :p no, not the Frances, would have been nice to meet up though. Doing the Salvador-Primitivo-Muxia version, the Primitivo was always my first Camino of choice, now instead it will be my third.

    The lesson of the cow

The first time I heard of the Camino was back in 98 when I was responsible for the travel book department in a large bookshop. I did not really give it much thought, and the books we stocked seemed a little bit strange and not really able to give proper guidance. Also, they seemed to be of a...

I have worn the speedcross on my 2 previous caminos (a pair only lasts for one) and then, obviously, bought a new pair for this years. But they have made a new model and after 2000 km in my old shoes with no blisters this new model gave me 2 after only 4 km. They were small though (or could have...
