Portugal Weather - Pilgrims - best time to walk

Although there are averages of temperature, I'm finding summers to be more and more unpredictable here in Portugal. Guidebook with Altimetry, Albergues and Distances

Never underestimate the good will of people in these kinds of situations. When I had my Credentials thing running, I offered the postage for people, but people would still give me Money for the postage (and sometimes even more).

Two new albergues between Lisboa and Porto

No worry about that ;) After reading the blog, I've seen that the "association" it's only by name, There is no legal document proving that they are somesort of admnistrative association, like Via Lusitana. But hey, they sure do a good job especially keeping those arrows in spot on conditions.

    Portugal route in April

Probably not too cold, at least during the day. April it's always a transition month, so be prepared for everything. Last year it had a lot of rain, but this year the prediction it's for a moderated Winter, and a windy Spring.

    The best way to Fatima

I understand that Mike :) I was just giving some kind of information regarding this, since there are people who believe that the Caminhos de Fátima have some kind of proved connection with the Caminho de Santiago. Although I believe that it's a very good symbiosis, there are some pilgrims...

    Silk liners...why?

Besides the consideration of adding extra warmth, there are also other reasons, like the weight of silk (I have a silk liner and a polyester liner, and the one made of silk weights less) and also because of the bed bug thing. For what some people have told me (even here in the Forum), it seems...

starting camino portugese on feb 17th- worries

No, what happens is that Doña Urraca do the same price has the Xunta Albergues. The Albergue it's managed by the 5Jotas bar, not by AGACS or any volunteers.
