How to order from Decathlon Spain if in Canada/USA.

UK is outside the EU so you might have better with Decathlon luck there though their delivery info only mentions our Royal Mail - but I agree with Peter, above, better to try them on before buying.

For Sale/Wanted E - Mountain bike for sale

Sounds good - would help those interested I think, if you said what model it is - Trek are great bikes. What is a medium frame? As in, how tall are you? Is that a 400W battery - as in, 16.6AmpH battery or 400W motor? Buen Camino!

1,000 Miles in a Lumbar Pack: Ultralight Camino de Santiago Packing List

Wow! Will you look at that!! Outstanding! .. and I can see that there is still room to carry, say, a long sleeved thermal vest or even a compression bag packed light down jacket (chilly nights) and lunch, couple of filled bocadillos. And, Paul, I see that with water you use the concept of fill...

1,000 Miles in a Lumbar Pack: Ultralight Camino de Santiago Packing List

I posted it as I really like the concept. Though is probably too minimalist for me. I like to carry food, a proper waterproof poncho, a down jacket, etc. and he wore that shirt for 56 days without washing it, so carried no spare. Thing is, to travel so light means that water isn't a problem...

    Rip off Restaurant

HHmmm .. I am not sure. Here in Bath (UK) in the old Guildhall Market there is a cafe - really good one but 1960s style - that is the cheapest in the area ... I have been going there now and then since 1972 ... so beautifully old fashioned and a 'proper' cafe. I just checked online - Two coffees...

Camino Francés favorites not in albergues?

Burgos, Casa Pancho - Calle San Lorenzo, 13, 15, not far from the Cathedral in small side street. Founded 1958, authentic local cuisine at good prices and here's the thing - the locals eat there! Very friendly and helpful - lovely wines too. https://barpancho.com/bar-restaurante/

Need help deciding to bring or not to bring

Hi Nina. These are my personal views - not fact, not necessarily right or correct, just from my viewpoint. Sleeping liner: - ? something to sleep in - liner, lightweight bag (you don't say when you are going so don't know climate for you). In the UK Trail do a fleece envelope liner that opens...

Maybe a rude question! How old are you?

Zimmer frames with scallop shell motif? Scallop shell shaped wigs? Shell stamped incontinence pads? Large print guides? Shell shaped name label to pin on coat? Slippers, blue and yellow dressing gowns? ;)

Maybe a rude question! How old are you?

Have cast but do wonder if the results will show our age variations or the most common age groups that respond to questionnaires.

Is Logrono worth spending a day off?

Apart from the town sites, and this may be a bit off the usual responses, but, there is a large shopping area, 3kms from centre or frequent number 9 bus - Centro Commercial Parque Rioja on the south west of town and it has a large Decathlon and a vast hypermarket, an Al Campo (the French...

    25 km per day?

I do so agree Walkalong - my Ebay CaminoStore tagline is - "On Camino every day is a journey, and it is the journey itself that is home" which is taken from a poem by Matsuo Basho, the 17th C Japanese Zen poet - is this why we return to Camino? Wanderers? "The moon and sun are eternal...

    25 km per day?

If the full Frances is 790kms and the suggested days are 33 then the average is surely 23.93939393939394kms per day? 🤣
