    Spring Camino, where?

I did not read any other responses, so sorry if redundant. You could walk the Vasco. Starts in Irun and connects to the Frances in either Burgos or Santa Domingo de Calzada.

    Route from fuenterroble de salvatierra

24 beds should be more than enough. I walked in late April and never saw more than 5 in any location. In Fuenterroble make sure you shower in the main building. The solar showers are very cold.

Camino de Madrid Trip Report - March 2023

Those are some long days. Some young folks I was with on the Primitivo walked Lugo to Santiago in two days. I walked the first 50km's Lugo to Melide but back to back 50's is over the top for an old guy like me.

Suggestions on getting from Madrid airport to Leon?

You can also take the train. Take the cercanias train from the lower level in T4 to Chamartin station. Then take the train from there to Leon. There is a Renfe ticket office in Madrid airport T4

LIVE from the Camino Starting the Invierno today - March 12, 2024

I found this to be the most challenging day. Nice walk up in the hills along the river. Then steep decline to cross the river followed by a steep 7 km's back uphill to Chantada. Stayed in Albergue A Pousa, very nice clean modern place with washer and dryer. Lots of good options right up the...

    Starting Mozarabe in Malaga 4/2024

The only thing I absolutely need is a credential. Between Gronze, wikiloc and the chart you sent me I will be fine. Based on comments from others, I was hoping to work with the local association like I did when walking from Almeria.

    Starting Mozarabe in Malaga 4/2024

I am now 16 days from my start date in Malaga :) . I believe I have tried every contact that has been suggested and still nothing from the Malaga association. I have even reached out to Veronica from the Almeria association and she has reached out to them too. While it would be nice to have a...

When Posting Reviews on Gronze . . .

Gronze offers users of their site, like most apps., the opportunity to comment on their experiences. Many people do and based on their expectations or personal requirements they comment favorably or not. That is their prerogative. In my 10 plus Camino's, I can say I have never left a comment...

You could also try the Vasco. Irun to Santo Domingo de la Calzada. It is an 8-9 day walk through Basque Country. Very sparsely traveled.

First timer - recommendations for 5-7 day Camino Primitivo itinerary

The San Salvador has some pavement but it is rural not much traffic. It is a 4-6 day walk. You have beautiful scenery, start and end in nice cities Leon and Oviedo and get a certificate.
