Camino Frances in May-June

What might one expect with regard to weather, number of pilgrims, space at hostels, etc. when walking from Mid-May through June?

I walked the first 3 weeks of June last year (sjpp -Fromista) and this year Astorga-Santiago and bus to Finisterre). Lots of pilgrims to make friends with, no one seemed to have trouble getting a bed/room and lots of good weather (some rain, some chilly mornings, some warm but not miserably hot days).
