Salvador route between Poladura and Pajares

Camino 2024 unknown starting 4/1 from somewhere.
I walked this section today and there are significant snow drifts in the passes. It took me 3 1/2 hours to cover 8 km's between Poladura and Arbas. I do not recommend anyone walk this section alone. A simple slip, could cause a twisted ankle or worse. Arbas to Parajes is snow free but ankle deep mud in sections. A good slog.

Knowing what I know now, I would not walk the section between Poladura and Arbas alone, at the moment.

amazing to hear it is still so snowy up there, so late into Spring!
Glad to know you made it safely. The rest of the trip should be a breeze compared to that... just be sure to stick to the western side of the valley!
Ultreia, pilgrim.

I walked it in 2010 in perfect weather conditions. I would not walk it alone again.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.
