I've been thinking of doing Camino for a while but a "window" might have opened up...
I may get two weeks in early May free, and am asking for advice on route and where to start.
I'm reasonably fit & walk, but am not an uber-experienced long distance hiker: I want the challenged but do not want to push things t-o-o-o hard.
Would CdF be too crowded then? Where is a good place to start?
How easy would it be to get to Astorga? Or Leon would be easy travel and a more natural "starting city" - but is that too far?
Alternatively, if I were to do something less developed is Primitivo do-able in two weeks?
That time of year the weather should be lovely though and it would be nice to do a whole route instead of joining half-way along.
And I like the idea of something less crowded -- although hopefully not deserted?
