Big Fun in a Tiny Pueblo
Rebekah Scott and her husband moved to Moratinos in Spain and are now living ON the camino to Santiago de Compostela. They have an active blog that is well worth a read if you are interested in the Spanish way of life.
This is how Rebekah introduces herself on her blog:
I live along the Camino de Santiago, a pilgrim path walked by millions of people over thousands of years. It’s the perfect place for people interested in learning what they are about and how to be. It is lonesome and cold and hard some days, but I still consider myself the most fortunate person on the planet. I found my dream, and I am working hard to make it reality…and it’s happening.
Rebekah Scott, an erstwhile USA newspaper journalist, pulled up stakes in June 2006 and moved with Paddy, her wise-ass English husband to a tumbledown farming compound in Moratinos, a tiny town in rural Palencia, Spain. Their village is on the Camino de Santiago, an ancient pilgrimage route now popular with hikers and bikers and riders of all beliefs and stripes and types.
