  1. Just keep walking if your legs can stand it.

Cold showers, no heat in the building, expensive food that isnt that great, impossible to get attention from any of the three hosts if you want to order food. One of the courses for lunch was a mushy/bruised banana still in the peel.

Internet was down and the kitchen, while servicible with a fridge and a stove you had to light with a match and a broken burner, could use a rub down with bleach. :-/

Only market in town is also run by the albergue, and is open for an hour or so in the late afternoon when the restaurant is getting deliveries from the same delivery man. While the food was reasonably priced anything remotely “fresh” (despite coming right off the truck) was mealy and bruised while the perfect looking produce went to the townsfolk who also seemed to get their groceries from the same truck.

A plus, there is a tub.

  2. The next town is only 3 km away. You can make it. Ledigos is a dismal town with nothing but the albergue, which is ok, but they’re not very nice. My friend got a stomach flu and had to call the ambulance to pick her up in Ledigos. I was going to stick around and wait for her to get back, so I paid for an extra night. She ended up getting out of the hospital and we continued on to Sahagun, and were going to let our friends take the room that night since we had paid for it. They refused and said the friends would have to pay again. We called later and asked for the manager but they would not let the call through. There are better places really close to Ledigos. Keep walking.

  3. Great place! We had been walking for a very long time and reached to the albergue exhausted. We were greeted with a tasty dinner and a warm shower. The owners were extremely nice and made us feel at home. Couldn’t have asked for a better place!

  4. ¡Un gran sitio! ¡Muy buenos desayunos! Las duchas impecables y todo el recinto muy limpio. Ojalá todos los albergues hubieran sido como ese.
