  1. This albergue is run by a Brazillian woman who married a local man she met while on her Camino, didn’t meet him but she was the perfect hostess. Dinner at the local bar but breakfast inhouse and a good one too, self service and donation. Facilities clean and plenty blankets etc. *****

  2. This new private albergue is in a 300 year old house sensitively renovated by the Spanish-Brazilian hosts! Originally grapes
were crushed for the delicious local vino tinto on the rough pebble
floor of today’s main entrance hall. The
on-going adaptation is charming. Family furniture, bits and pieces, plus
Ikea basics are well mixed together. One unique feature is a shady
loggia strung with colorful hammocks for siestas out of the summer sun! the dorms are comfy, the showers powerful and the large kitchen is handy for group meals.

  3. This is a fabulous hostel. Sabine and Miguel are wonderfully warm and gracious hosts. Accommodation excellent. Miguel cooked dinner for us including vegetarian paella which was the best paella that I have ever tested. Bed, breakfast (excellent) and dinner 30 euro approx. Excellent value. Highly recommend.
