Via Francigena Lucca to Roma

Our Via Francigena Lucca to Rome
Hi bid this a couple of years ago and the path is well maintained signage is not as often as French way but is marked. Italy is more expensive than Spain generally but it is still doable on a budget. There are quite a few Donativo hostels and we meet a lot of young people doing the route on very restricted budgets and they managed fine. Depends on what your expectations are.

Enjoyed these a lot @Jbirk
I wasn’t sure ‘where’ on your VF they are but hoping I’ll see some of them between Siena and Rome in Mar2020
Thankyou for sharing.
