@Robo Hi Rob - yes, the image is helped. I am hopeful that one day a camera will be made that can capture what the eye can see but until that day we all shall have to pull from our memories and imagination to fill in the blank left by the medium
@jozero; did you see the telling graffitti on the traffic signs at the road near the the Iron Cross?
Before the cross it said "Learning to Fly" and after: "Coming Down".
After that I was humming Tom Petty the rest of the way down !!

I absolutely loved the first day from SJPP to Roncevalles. But, boy. Astorga to el Acebo was all kinds of fantastic. To Rabanal...just okay for me. But out of Rabanal to Foncebadon...that's where I'd love to open up an albuergue. I'd keep it open all year and have a kitchen. then the hike to Cruz de Ferro on to El Acebo...I can't wait until I do it again.
