Hola Rick the cover snap on the Brierley Guide Book is (I believe) taken around Itero or on the road to Boadilla. Whilst the photo above is about 2 or 3 km from Morantinos (say half way between Morantinos and Terradillos). Cheers

Hola Rick, ok you win on the Brierley book photo. I can now recognise it. The photo above is (I believe) taken in the same region. Maybe on the alternative route (the Green one) from Ledigos to Terradillos. I traversed this area twice - in Sept/Oct 2015 it was so brown; but in May 2017 it was very green - so different. Seeing these two photos I fail to understand how "pilgrims" seriously opt to bus the Meseta. Happy Easter. Cheers
