Latin-derived languages have so many similarities to each other, but that V—>B is from the other classical language, Greek …
The Romans took their language from the Etruscans … i don’t think they wanted to have anything at all to do with anything Greek …
These things fascinate me … 🤔

So if I ask for ‘H-way-vos’ they’ll laugh at me .. ? 😉

We started at Southwark Cathedral. Well, on day 0 we actually walked the short distance from St Paul's to Southwark. I wanted to start at St Paul's and end at St Peter's because I thought that was a cool set of bookends. If you have any interest in the details, we actually vloged the whole thing and you can see it at TogetherOnFoot.com or you can just ask questions. I think I could talk about it endlessly.
We walked 88 of 96 days and accumulated over 25,700m of elevation (that's 4.7x Mt Everest from base to peak). It was crazy.
