That magic marker in Galicia that comes after walking 700k. (If you walk the Frances route and start in SJPDP).

@ffp13 I suspect that the mood may be somewhat weather influenced.Though I have never seen a photo at this stage where people looked sad. But you're right ending a camino is a sobering thing.

I hope the weather is better when I reach that marker on the right hand side of the Camino .

Many claim that it is no longer correct, the claim is that the new airport changed the Camino route making it longer?

If you stop in Moto de Gozo you must have a meal in the restaurant/Bar Sousa a 10 minute walk on the main road back in the town, ( best on the Camino)

I don't think the distance is out that much, my walking time for the final stages was very close to what I expected for that distance.

@Krisztinka Well thank you Krisztinka. What do you think that 'special camino-feeling' is? Is it the healthy 6-7 hr walks daily, the good food and wine (no GMOs in Spain), the daily adventure, the camaraderie, freedom from the cares and routine at home?
