We walked from Lisbon and detoured to Fatima via the blue arrows. So much fun. We got mixed up with church groups walking. They were so kind. We slept with them in school class rooms on the floor(very painful) but a shared experience. We shared there organised food which was very spartan (we paid for ours). Amazing memories.

Oh and if Anyone walks from Lisbon use the bomberros. That the fire stations. You will have to sleep on the floor sometimes but they have showers. Usually it is the old sleeping quarters for the firemen and they have had new k
