Agreed. Three excellent albergues. 6pm departure accompanied by the bar flashing time and temperature over street door....okay, okay, for that, one last croissant and another café solo before going.

Hontanas was my favorite village on the Camino Frances. I stayed here in 2012. The village is charming for a nice walkabout and the beer is ice-cold.

I like Hontanas - its another of the Meseta villages that has been saved and has even grown thanks to the Camino.
