Waiting for the Compostela
Hi Peter, yes that would have worked. I arrived about 9 AM, looked around the square for awhile then remembered to go get my Compostala. By then, the line had formed. Silly me I was so thrilled with just being in the square totally forgot. :)

after ten Caminos I do not get a Compostela any longer. What would I do with them? For me, the Camino is both a spiritual and a physical adventure.

Oh yes. I remember being in this line.....Great pic. Thx
so do I and decided I would opt out of a Compostela, all because I had accomplished what I had intended to do walk the Camino.

I as well have received many a compostela and questioned why should i get anymore? Then, I have realized that being in the line, interacting with the Pilgrims office personnel who write the compostelas and especially the other Pilgrims while waiting in line, is also a very important part of my Pilgrimage. And then attending Mass at the Cathedral afterwards, provides a nice Pilgrimage closer for me and prepares me for waits lies ahead.....
