I loved that stretch. The 5 kms after Los Arcos and before Viana were lovely as well. Los Arcos is a great stop on the Camino. The medieval image of the Virgin Mary at the altar of the the Church of Santa Maria was originally a Black Madonna from the 12th Century. It was painted later to a more beige tone, but the local people still to this day referred to it as the Black Madonna!

beautiful of the Camino..much memories of this since have done Camino Frances 3 times and it still intrigues me will definitely do it again.Thanks for the memories.
