Where to stay in Santarem: N1 Hostel Apartments and Suites
N1 is a fantastic place to stay, Miguel and his wife Maria are incredible friendly and helpful. I was in a very bad shape on my third day of pilgrination for the heat, Fortunatelly Miguel and his son passed, they were on the way to rescuet other pilgrims, who call him, on the way back they pick me up too and offer fresh water and reasurement. I needed to stay one more day as the sun really hurt me, i feel care and protected. Everything is clean, confortable, the dinner for pilgrims are marvellous.
There is another pilgrims albergue in the same street as N1 - Santa Casa da Misericórdia - but it is closed.
