Unlike many descriptions of the Pyrenees, our first time over the top on 22 April 2017 was spectacularly beautiful.

In 2014 we had a similar day. We had some puffy clouds, but that added to the beauty. In 2017, you couldn't see the tips of your fingers if you held them in front of you because of the dense fog. However after a few hours climb we rose above the clouds and were treated to a different beauty; the "islands" of mountain peaks poking above a sea of white cloud.
It looks like you did indeed have a beautiful day. When was it?

@DowtyCamino This was on April 22, 2017. Spent the night at Orisson, then headed out just after sunrise. The metadata says it was taken at 06:57. After hearing so much about weather over the Pyrenees, we felt truly blessed. Buen Camino.
