To Carrion de los Condes indeed. A long stretch... But then you can sleep with the nuns in the Espiritu Santo Albergue... ;):) Real wooden beds, no bunk beds.

I stayed there once yrs ago. now I stay with the Poor Clares own room with bathroom very nice.

Well not exactly "sleep" with the nuns, but they did provide a comfortable bed, but I encountered "the snorer from HELL". I even checked out the chapel of repose but it was locked. Fortunately he left at 5.30 am and we did get an hour's sleep.
