Always take the right track at the intersection and don’t gamble with your health for the remainder of the camino on either day one or two if stopping at Orisson. Only for pack carriers and older people as pilgrims with no weight can walk down the hill no problems at all and it’s quicker.

the hike up was awesome...the hike down was also awesome, but a good lesson that hiking up may be hard on the lungs but hiking down is harder on the legs. The first day was my favorite day of the entire Camino. My second favorite day was Astorga to el Acebo...I'd like to open an albuergue in Foncebadon some day.
