I love this view. It was wonderful to sit there with the humming of the wind turbines in the background, contemplating the arduous descent that was to come.

Oh I agree completely! That was my toughest day of the 12 days we spent on the Camino. I ended up videotaping my hiking boots tromping along the hot dusty trail as I muttered about the day!
My husband had to descend it walking backwards while I guided him, his knees and shins were so sore! And we did the detour to Eunate before we hit Puente la Reina for the night! What a hot brutal day.
