@Theatregal No I did not ride down all of it. Let me clarify, after about 100 metres I realised that this was an accident going somewhere to happen so I got off and walked the rest of the way down to the bridge and then resumed riding after we rejoined the road. Cheers

wanted to stay here, June? 2016 stayed at the Bar and had something to eat rested and when the Church Albergue opened went the man was rude and grumpy and so he reluctantly stamped our passport and we left. he lost a few pilgrims that way on account of his attitude. Nevertheless a pilgrim is always grateful.

We enjoyed Belorado a lot and had one of our most enjoyable albergues there -- but because of colds and cold wet weather the next day (September) we missed this steep section of the trail and went ahead by bus to Burgos. Burgos itself is very beautiful but the outlying industrial areas are numbing so we are not sorry to have fast forwarded here. Thank you for this beautiful picture.

that was an interesting day...I hiked from Granon with an intention of stopping in Montes de Oca, but it was only noon so I thought I'd keep going. I'm glad I did...actually wish I would have gone a few more KM's to Atapuerca. I think of the Camino every single day...every day. I'd love to open up an albuergue in Foncebadon. I'd probably go broke, but I'd deal with it.
