This is a nice work of art. Sadly, I was badly turned off by Ponferrada because of all the ugly local grafitti tagging all over town. I like it when people put some thought into it, at least.

Yeah, pretty much ALL cities have the trashy graffiti issue - including anywhere on the Camino! The best is to have a crew that immediately covers it to discourage the masses from adding to it. Taggers are less motorized if it’s covered in a day or 2.
