My stay in Vega de Valcarce at Albergue El Paso. After I hobbled in and registered I ordered a bottle of wine. The owner brought it out to me as I sat in her garden. My feet were blistered badly enough that I had stopped for help in Astorga and was considering ending my Camino. 10 minutes later she reappeared with freshly picked and sliced cherry tomatoes sprinkled with balsamic vinegar , a plate full. A simple act of kindness that help me finish in Santiago.
