my favorite day of the entire Camino was the first day (I loved Astrorga to el Acebo and the hike to O Cebreiro as well). We got a later start out of SJPP at 9:15...but hit Orisson at a good time for a quick sandwich and two beers. Rolled into Roncevalles at around 5:30 which was perfect timing as far was we were concerned. The views at Orrison were beautiful, the weather great (July 4th 2017), and the hiking was strong.
