I had the luxury of being able to take two and a half days of relaxing and working through jet lag when I arrived in Spain in Roncesvalles where I chose to begin on January 12. Three nights at Casa Sabina, chatting all manner of folk in the bar and nice with walks around the countryside and other villages was exactly what I needed to equilibrate.
