I posted this so that I would have it available to send in a PM to somebody on the forum. It is the flag for the International Brigades that fought against the fascists (Franco, et al) during the Spanish Civil War.

"They shall not pass""

Is this a song contemporary of the time? I know it’s a sensitive subject and all but looking completely from the outside this song was the first time I’d heard that a PORTION of the argument against Franco was that he was in league with the “Moors” and “Italians”.
Of course the Italians were natural sympathizers being fascist themselves and Franco did indeed come over from his post in Africa. I’d just never heard that angle used against him. Very interesting.
