Espiritual Variant way marking?

Hi all, just wondered how well the Espiritual Variant from Pontevedra is marked with arrows?

Can I relay on the way marking as I can't find the trail on Buen Camino app which makes me a bit nervous

Thanks for any tips or suggestions.
Taking it slow and not racing as have a tender knee. Small stages for me

About 5 kms past Pondevedra you will come to a big sign to tell you to go left to follow the Variante. The yellow arrows are marking the way. It is a beautiful route!

For myself, I would regard the route as being very well way-marked. As with all routes, in places there is a need to be paying attention, though my experience is that it is reasonably easy to follow.

It is a very beautiful Camino, especially in the section following Armenteira.

The markers change and when you get to the mountain climb, there are some spots that you know you can't go wrong because you have no choice... We're 74, made it the full Variante Espiritual May 16-17 and, although a bit tired each night, loved it

Just walked the Portuguese, including the Espiritual Variant, this month. I found the waymarking to be excellent. As is the case on the other Camino routes, walking into, around and out of a few of the villages - particularly larger ones- can be a bit confusing now and again, but nothing that can’t be fairly quickly sorted out.
