Camino Frances (2012)
Hi fellow Camino fans....

Having walked Camino Frances in spring 2012 and loved it... from day one - thanks to all the research I did on here before hand.... it has become my passion to inspire and inform others.

I met many fellow Irish pilgrims along the way - but numbers from the north were much slimmer. In an effort to grow the 'norn iron' contingent - I host regular talks around Northern Ireland - view all details at http://www.awayaweewalk.com

I'm a bit late to this post but I will be flying the 'norn iron' flag on the Camino in April 2019. Flying to Santiago on 04th April and hoping to start at La Faba the next day. Haven't worked out how to get to La Faba yet but really looking forward to it.

About the easiest way to get to La Faba is to walk it from Ponferrada or Villafrance del Bierzo? There are Trains to Ponferrada. ALSA have a bus from Santiago to Villafranca. There is a bus from Villafranca to La Faba but you wouldn't call the service regular. Happy planning.
