Planing to walk camino in June 2017
Hi, I'm new to all this and I'm planing to walk Camino de Santiago for the first time.
I'm planing to walk in in beginning of June 2015.
I was looking for info how to get from Biarritz to SJPdP but was unable to find, maybe there was explained but I didn't see hehe.
I'm flying from London (Stansted) to Biarritz and I would like for someone to explain how to get from Biarritz to SJPdP step by step and would like to know all transport costs.
Thx :)

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The current 2015 TER Aquitaine line 62 schedule shows a combination of train from Bayonne to Cambo les Bains and TER supplied bus from Cambo les Bains to SJPdP as being the travel combo until July 4, 2015. The schedule for later travel in 2015 has not yet been issued.

For this trip you purchase a ticket (roughly 10 euros) at the Bayonne railroad station (Gare SNCF Bayonne). The same ticket will cover both travel on the TER train and travel on the TER supplied bus.

There is actually a transit route from Biarritz, linking the French coastal route with the Via Podiensis (which ends in SJPP). It would add five or six days to your walk.

@Walter1407 Thx for the info, I would like to add more days to my journey because I dont know when I will be able to do something like this again in mt life so would like to enjoy as long and as much as I can :)

I'll try to find the info online again (it was on a French website). If you start in Biarritz (and if you like a less busy route than the Camino Frances), you could continue on the coastal route to the Camino del Norte (and later maybe the Camino Primitivo). That would add about another week to your adventure. If I find the maps I can e-mail them. Sending you a PM now.

I would really appreciate it

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Don't get confused. There are three Caminos crossing Biarritz-Bayonne. The Voie de la Nive, to SJPP (above mentioned); the Ruta del Baztan (another mountain cross, apparently easier, to Pamplona ), and the Voie de la Côte, to Irún and Camino del Norte.
Buen camino!

Greetings from Ireland. There is a company in SJPP that operate a transfer service. You book on their website and they collect you at Biarritz airport 30 minutes after your flight arrival time. You are in SJPP in an hour. The cost depends on the number of passengers but for 4 or more it's only €18 per person. You pay in cash on arrival at the airport and they will advise you when you book how many people they have so far for that particular journey. I used them last year and they are excellent and have already booked my transfer for this years journey in April. The website is www.expressbourricot.com
Regards,
Gerard.
