I want to share a CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corp) radio documentary called "Oliver Schroer's Musical Pilgrimage on the Camino". I've listened to it twice (it's about 50 minutes) and leaves me so moved.

If you have time, do listen. It's poignant and so insightful. The violin music is breathtaking. When you click on the link you will go to CBC radio page. Scroll down past the youtube video and you will find the CBC link in bold, that says Listen to Inside the Music on Radio 2... click on the triangle thingy.

There is also a link to photos taken by his friend who accompanied him on the Camino.

Buen Camino.

That was lovely, @AnnieS. Thanks for sharing. Had to work a bit at accessing it; it was only after I tried the 'Mobile' site that some other option presented itself, and only then did the 'triangle thingy' work. (Don't you just love this tech speak?!)

Annie thank you so much for this….I was able to access it easily. It is playing as I write. It goes straight to the heart.

I can't access it either, but I have his album Camino which I often play.

@AnnieS thanks for that. I was able to listen to it in Ireland through www.hola.org [Probably not with the approval of CBC :)]
On a similar note, as I was driving to the airport to fly to Madrid, (to walk part of Norte), a few weeks ago at 0300, and listening to BBC World Service (on Long Wave in my car) I heard this documentary. I don't think you need to he in UK to listen to it, and you can download a podcast too I think. Completely different, but also very interesting, and I thought a very personal presentation by the producer.

This interview was one of the many " little miracles" / moments of serendipity that started happening a year before I left on my first camino. Oliver's music has been with me since!

From airports to SJPP
Luggage from SJPP to Roncevalles
Thank you.
I have the CD of Oliver Schroer's pilgrimage music and it has filled many years with this pilgrim's musical pleasure.

Unfortunately I cannot find the podcast on the link you sent. I see nothing about "Listen to the Music..."
