My first Camino began at my own front door and finished in Santiago. Since then although I have walked to Santiago many times, at different times of the year, aircraft have always brought me home. I have been left wondering what it would be like to begin in Santiago and walk home.
During the coming week I will start to answer the question. The first stage of my journey will, hopefully, finish in St. Jean in November. I hope to arrive home after two further stages in the Spring and Autumn of next year.
I am aware that it is a huge undertaking and I won't have the pleasure of a group to walk with so, if you see a bearded Pilgrim heading east on the Frances please say Hi as you pass.

Hi Grayland,
All being well I plan to return St.Jean in the spring of next year and follow Spring north to Roscoff then go home for the Summer. In the Autumn I will return to Plymouth and walk north through England and finally Scotland. I will finally finish in the ruined Cathedral in St. Andrews, Fife (which was built to rival Santiago).

Hi Dael, I will keep a look out for you. I leave from St Jean next week, so we’ll probably pass each other about mid way. Buen camino. Jill

Dael my friend, so good to hear you're doing another Camino and one with a new twist. Best wishes and Buen Camino
