The Northern Caminos (Guidebook) - A guide to the Caminos del Norte, Primitivo, and Inglés, published by Cicerone

This guidebook is a meticulously detailed yet handy companion to walking the pilgrimage routes that lead through northern Spain to the sacred city of Santiago de Compostela, with stage-by-stage descriptions to four routes: the Camino del Norte, the Camino Primitivo, the Camino Inglés and the Camino de Finisterre.

Hi. I am currently walking the Primivito having completed 2 weeks on the Norte
Dave sorry to be the one that tells you this but your guide book ( the 2015 revised one) is inaccurate in places, gives only partial directions in others and sometimes just wrong. The bit where you advice pilgrims to "do as the locals do" and cross a railway (railroad) bridge is downright irresponsible and dangerous. Did you bother to check the timetable? There are over 40 trains a day both ways not Inc freight and unscheduled. Pilgrims who get caught out on that bridge are in trouble. And it's illegal.
Having walked the Frances earlier this year using Brierly's excellent guide it shows just how poor an effort yours is. Loads of pictures maps you can't use (and out of date) hardly worth the weight. I gave it one star on Amazon so in fairness 2/10 .
Don Camille.
