I don't know if this has been posted. I did a search but didn't see it.

Caminofacil has started a bag transport service on the Portuguese Route.
They blog about it here: http://blog.caminofacil.net/en/
Scroll down to find the bit about the taxi.
The service is at www.transfertaxi.es

The Camino Portugues with Caminofacil and TransferTaxi.es

16 November, 2015

We are hard at work preparing the upcoming season of the Camino, and today we can announce that, as part of our services, next year we will be providing luggage transfer services in the Camino Portugues (Portuguese Way) through our friends at Transfertaxi.es.

Transfertaxi.es
is a cab service located in Pontevedra which provides 24 hours transports and covers the airports of Vigo, Santiago and Oporto. Transfertaxi.es also offers day trips through Galicia, services for events and all kinds of transport and messaging services.
The Camino Portugués starts in Lisbon, and passes along the portuguese cost through Coimbra and Oporto before entering Spain through Tui. Caminofacil and Transfertaxi.es offer our services in the following stages:
  1. Tui – Porriño.
  2. Porriño – Redondela.
  3. Redondela – Pontevedra
  4. Pontevedra – Caldas de Reis.
  5. Caldas de Reis – Padrón.
  6. Padrón – Santiago de Compostela.

If you are going to walk the Camino Portugués and need your backpack carried for you, call us! We will be delighted to help you.

In my opinion nothing news. Tuitrans is covering that part since a long time.

More interesting should be a service being covered from Lisbon to Porto.
That should be great news for them who want lugage transport.

Cheers Annie. Will sent the link to my friends who are walking the Portugues next month. Good to know they have more options.

It is possible to walk 3-4 day trips from Lisbon to Santarem and train back to Lisbon if you wish. That means you are walking without your pack as you will keep your pack in Lisbon at your hostel there.
The hostal in Santarem (Mario), the hostel Tomar2000 (Fernando) and hospitalero Carlos in Alvaiazere have organized together a pick-up- drop-off service. @santaremhostel
So actually you can walk at least to one day trip PAST Alvaiazere without your pack because Carlos would drive your pack up to your next stop.

I would like to walk the river route in Tui next month. I can see on google maps exactly where it starts, but it seems a bit overgrown. Has anybody used this route this year or last year...
Hello, my friend of 50+ years and I are on our first Camino walk. We are looking for: 1) safe, comfortable hostels in Lisbon; 2) stages from Lisbon to Porto (via Tomar) in about 16 days...
Hi I have searched everywhere to see if there is a luggage service from Lisbon to Porto. I know there is from Porto to Santiago, but Lisbon ???. Thanks for any info.
