We found it yesterday and it's really nice! At the moment it's $10E. Nice HIGH bunks, fabulous tiolet/shower rooms and a shelf with plugins for every bed!
Check out 'Check In León. I don't work for them and have no affiliation whatsoever.

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
Thank you for this RumAndChuacab, it looks beautiful, but, oh goodness, those top bunks would give me vertigo & the rails are so minimal. I would stay there in a flash but only if I could have a lower bunk.:)

"check in Leon" is a beautiful modern 'hostel' ,' albergue' with lovely bunks and lockers, showers etc etc.

However for pilgrims there are two points to be aware of.
firstly it does not have a closing time. all clients have a code and may come in at 1..am 2 am or whenever. Several young men were getting ready to go out on the town when I was going to bed. They were quite coming in so it was not a problem, but perhaps in full summer it might be.!!!

Secondly it is right at the very beginning of Leon -if you are a pilgrim. Next morning I walked for 3 hours before I actually exited Leon. Another time I would rather stay in a more central place.

Check out the albergue run by the Capuchins. It's a modern 4 floor albergue in the heart of the city. Every "dormitory" of 4 to 8 bunks has its own bathroom. You can also get private rooms for 2 with bath (30 euro). Meals are very reasonable - 6 euro for dinner - and they wash and dry your clothes for free!! We stayed 3 days. They also run one in Estella.

There we a few who came in the wee hours and were very quiet. I noticed most people tiptoed around the Dormitorio. I found out on Camino that noise can happen when, how and by whom you least expect it from! I'd hope people wouldn't pass this place for something that 'might' happen. :)

May I get its albergue name and address with phone number?

Thank you! may I get the albergue in Leon you mentioned? We will start the camino from Leon. Before flying to Madrid, do we have to make reservation, if possible, or we can have two beds when we go there? we will be in Leon 3 pm or a little late?
We made a reservation by phone, but they have many rooms so you could probably just walk in.
