I won't ask why one might be roaming the streets of Santiago at this time of morning but one might assume after a busy night of (fill in the blank), pizza tastes just grand!
This sounds like the virtual adventure of some forum members last summer when they hijacked the little train and careened about town.I discovered this particular place after a night out with Ivar. He got drunk and unfortunately was arrested trying to climb the scaffolding on the Cathedral spire to take one of his pictures. It took me hours to bail him out, by which time we were both starving. Come along with us next time - fun guaranteed!

And when taking the overnight sleeper train from Madrid and arriving before anywhere opens !Now, the boring and unimaginative reply: sometimes you leave for the airport very early.
I am sure that there is some social scientific dietetic study, done by a bunch of recent well lubicated, university grads, and a hand full of pilgrims, on the reasons why people have pizza at 5:00 am in the morning in Santiago.
