Hi - Can anyone give me information about buses to Muxia from Santiago? I hope to walk from Muxia to Finisterre but won't have enough time to get to Muxia on foot. I can find nothing online regarding public travel to Muxia.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Here's the website for the bus service. http://www.grupoferrin.com/

Super easy, buy the ticket on the bus. In Santiago I boarded at the bus station. Easy to get to. I'd recommend not getting to the station too early. I got there about an hour early to make sure I was in the right spot, buy a ticket, maybe get a cup of coffee. Nothings open, purchase ticket on bus, very little activity inside and felt creepy. Just go downstairs and board the bus when it arrives. Not much direction signage. Just keep an eye out for the Ferrin bus and a Muxia sign on the bus.

There is a bus stop near the train station along Rua do Horreo. I remember we stoped there and picked up a couple of people on the way out of town. On my return trip we stopped near the bridge leading to the train station and a number of folks got off. Not sure the exact location for either stop. I checked Google street view and I do not see bus stop signs. You may want to check at the place you're staying if there's a Ferrin stop close by. Though your safest bet to make sure you're in the right spot for the right bus is the bus station.

Hope this helps!
Buen Camino

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Thanks so much:). Looking forward to starting my camino from Astorga on Sept 11th and then a couple of days around the coast before I return home.

I too, took the bus to Muxia, then walked to Finesterre, rather than the other way around. Reason being, there are more buses heading back to Santiago from Finesterre than there are from Muxia as I'm always a little worried getting back to Santiago for my flight back to Madrid. I also like to stop in Lires overnight to make for two relaxing days of walking. The beach just outside of town is quite special.
