For this camino, I am looking to opt out of staying in an alburgue and stay in a private room at a hotel. Can anyone recommend a Hotel in SJPDP that also offers a communal meal/dinner with other pilgrims? Or an alburgue that has private rooms with a communal meal?

Hotel Ramuntcho. Clean, reasonable. Try booking.com or a similar website to make a reservation.
A hotel that offers a communal meal? That would be rare, wouldn't it?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Gite Azkorria has private rooms, dormitory beds, and a pilgrim's menu. Its located close to the Pilgrim office. I stayed there in 2012, a good place at that time.
