Live from Santiago!!!
I´ve posted elsewhere on this but it bears repeating. The Seminaria Menor is closed until April 15th or thereabouts for "restauración". If any other provision has been made for pilgrims here during this time I haven't been able to find out, which seems a bit short-sighted to say the least... Looks like you are stuck with Monte do Gozo, so do look around in Santiago. I have made a suggestion elsewhere of a Pension I have been very happy with.
Buen Camino Todos.

If the Polish albergue in Monte date Gozo is open then I definitely recommend a stay there.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
Centro Europe de P........ Jose Pablo II Monte del Gozo. (Cant quite read the stamp on my credential.)=
Fairly newly built and situated behind the massive albergue that is said to resemble a Soviet holiday camp. Recommended to us by a Swedish pilgrim. We booked, eventually located it and stayed in September 2016. Good restaurant, but no breakfast service. We splurged on a simple twin bedded room en-suite but there was dormitory accommodation as well. Run by Polish volunteers when we visited but catering staff were local Spanish.

Me either. I think it is a myth.:)
Falcon you made me smile, one of my granddaughters says "me either" when really she means "me neither".

I think its only connection to Poland is that Juan Pablo II was Polish. :)

So that's the "famous" Polish albergue I've heard so much on my last two visits to Santiago but not on the first two. That's why I thought it's a new and private albergue run by Polish entrepreneurs near this huge Monte de Gozo albergue :D

Are you all talking about the same thing? There is also http://albergue.pl on Monte de Gozo, run by the association "Friends of the Roads of St. Jakub in Poland", usually from May to October and you can contact Agnieszka Żelwetro by e-mail at albergue@camino.net.pl .
@Katharina yes, this is where we stayed. The sello is the same and the word I couldn't decipher is" peregrinacion". I checked out their Facebook page and their photos definitely confirm this.

OK, now the mystery is solved. There are indeed two albergues.

Thank you :)

The building belongs to the Xunta, but the Polish confraternity provides a lot of volunteers:

Voluntary
In albergue every year, from spring to autumn, volunteering is run, organized by the Association "Friends of the Roads of St. Jakub in Poland. " It usually lasts from May to October, but exact dates are set each year separately.
Volunteers have the task of making it easier for pilgrims visiting our hostel to take a seat in the halls and offer assistance in all matters related to both our albergue and their further journey towards the tomb of Saint. Jacob.

Well, with a bit of free time on my hands sitting inside on a rainy afternoon, I pondered this issue, totally off topic though it is. It seems to me that I say both, but tend towards the "me either" side of things. I think that probably a rigid grammarian would say both are incorrect, but I know we use the phrases a lot in colloquial conversation. Could the difference be regional variation? Unfortunately, it's not one of the items in the NYT regional dialect quiz. :)https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2014/upshot/dialect-quiz-map.html

In the U.K. we were taught
" either (this one) or (the other),"
and" neither (not this) nor " (nor that)
My granddaughter had the habit of saying me either, when really she meant me neither
At this late hour I'm probably explaining this badly but "me either" sounds odd to an English ear.

I am sooo glad this important thread has re-appeared for discussion and so I can act as mediator. Either way, it is a shortened form, so neither ;) can be considered grammatically complete or correct. Logically, it would be either "me neither" as short for "neither does it apply to me," or it could be considered a short form of "it doesn't apply to me, either." From that perspective, the latter might seem better since at least the 2 words are next to each other, but I would never ever say it. @falcon269 seems to have changed his mind.
